Include Multi Condition Auto Recurring Fee in Deposits

This feature allows the multi condition auto recurring fee to be included when calculating the deposit amount for reservations.

This is applicable only if the deposit policy configurations on the New Deposit Policy screen meet the following criteria:

  • Immediate deposit policies created by enabling the Auto Recurring Fees and Include Tax checkboxes, and the Charge By option selected as Day/Nights or Percentage of Stay.

  • Scheduled deposit policies created by enabling the Auto Recurring Fees and Include Tax checkboxes, the Deposit at the Time of Booking option selected as Day/Nights or Percentage of Stay, and the Charge By option selected as Day/Nights or Percentage of Stay.

For example, consider the following immediate deposit policy:

  • Charge By option selected as Day/Nights - 1 and nightly room rate = $70.

  • Multi condition auto recurring fee applied to the reservation = $30.

  • Deposit amount is now calculated as $70 + $30 = $100.

The multi condition auto recurring fee is not included for deposit calculation for the following scenarios:

  • When recurring charges are added manually on the Book Reservation screen

  • When recurring charges are added manually on the Reservation screen

  • When add-ons, early check-in fee, pet fee, and late check out fee are added to the reservation

  • When immediate deposit policies are created with the Charge By option selected as Flat Fee.

  • When scheduled deposit policies are created with the Deposit at the Time of Booking option selected as Flat Fee.

  • When the Recurring Charge column is included in the Deposit Policy tab of the Stay Property Setup Tool.
